Meeting

The Captain's Meeting had gone about as expected. With the Quartermasters sent off on new tasks in preparation for new blood. Soon though they converged for their own meeting without their Captain's knowledge.

The first to show, as usual, was Adriana. The dark haired woman in company uniform as she began to make preparation for the others arrivals. With checklist floating beside her, she began ensuring enough would be ready given the various.. appetites.. of the others.

Human Blood, AB+, for Ashe.
Crocolisk Au Gratin for Graah.
Pan-Seared Talbuk for Suhgo.
Pineapple Pizza for Quezek.
Whole Roasted Boar for Bryce.
Salt and Pepper Shanks for Syvalia.
Sea Mist Rice Noodles for Xiu-Ming.
Dalaran Clam Chowder for Sabrina.
Azshari Salad and Faronaar Fizz for Minthax.
Beer Basted Boar Ribs for Adriana.

The two newest Quartermasters would not be making todays meeting as they were what the main meeting was about.

The first to arrive was Syvalia, five minutes early to ensure there was no room to be late. Soon after Minthax and Sabrina would arrive using the still in testing telemancy network- albeit it resulted in poor Sabrina puking and needing to be sat down immediately. Xiu and Suhgo followed with messenger bags. Graah came stumbling in and let out a garble of nonsense along with a folder that Rooze had translated for him. Ashe and Bryce came in with Quezek tucked under Bryce's arm, grumbling about time is money. Everyone passed their paperwork to Adriana before taking their seats at the meeting table to begin munching on lunch.

It was silent for a bit as everyone ate lunch and Adriana put the tally of everyone's sales and supply requests into her book for record keeping.

"Ashe.. Why do you and Rawley need an entire crate of blood shipped to your island?" Ana peeked up from her book.

Ashe set her glass down, "Simple, really. We got another ritual experiment going on."

"Is that why you two have been kidnapping people?" Sabrina peers across the table at the San'layn.

"No that's for something else. It'll all be worth it, I assure you." Ashe tried to dismiss the concern.

With a sigh, Ana was about to begin chastising but Syvalia beat her to it.

"Kidnapping our own is dishonorable! No experiment is worth our own!" The Vykrul slammed her fist on the table.

There were several murmurs of agreement, with the only two not in agreeance being Quezek and Suhgo.

"You're all a bunch of stiffs." Ashe chuckles, "With these experiments we could no longer fear death or grievous wounds! So shut your mouths."

"Your pretty words mean little with how many you've taken." Syvalia continues.

"Alright, enough. I'll see about having the new Captain go fetch you blood." Ana sighs heavily.

"Speakin' o' new Cap'ns.." Quez began, "Who are these shmucks and what makes 'em so interestin'?"

"I heard they're quite the polar opposites, are they not?" Minthax asks as they dab at their mouth with a napkin.

"That they are." Ana muses a bit, flipping the page as she continues writing, "One is Captain Ivan Thorne- my husband.. And his blood ship-"

Ashe sat up at the mention.

"And another is Captain Mathal of The Wonderlust. Exploring Adventure types." Ana continued on.

"Hm.. So me and my crew shoulda- Shoulda work closely with those." Quez noted before taking another bite of pizza.

"I look forward to meeting your husband." Ashe smirks, only to stiffen as an arcane explosion goes off next to her.

"You will behave." Ana had the stern voice she rarely used around the Quartermasters. "Both The Wonderlust and The Bloody Mary will need time to be given charts to handle."

"Hm.. Have they been tested yet?" Bryce finally spoke up.

"No. Though I rather not put anyone against The Bloody Mary or her crew. Their Captain is still learning restraint." Ana flips another page, before sighing, "Min.. Why does Leron want -thirty- coils of heavy duty leystone wiring?"

Minthax looked rather sheepish, "He has a new invention he wishes to test as a way to bring stable power to the slums."

"Okay.. But why so much?" She set her pen down to look at the Nightborn.

"Well uhm.. You see.. It might uh.. Eheh.. Involve lots of Lightning.. And well uhm.. That tends to burn most metals.. So.." Min shifts uncomfortably.

Ana pinches the bridge of her nose, "Right.. Okay. If he pulls out one of those artifacts from the vault though, I'm gonna deck him." She warns, moving to return to scribbling notes.

"Eheh... Er-.." Min shifts a bit, hiding their face behind their hand.

"He already went into the vault didn't he?" Ana let out an exasperated sigh as Bryce and Ashe began chuckling.

"Yes Ma'am..." Min shrunk in their seat.

Ashe was full on laughing by this point, "I thought we were supposed to be the misbehaving ones?"

Graah tried to interject in defense but only Ana understood Pygmy at this point, so he only got more folks laughing, to the embarrassment of Minthax.

"Enough. You're all being a rather pain." Ana leans back in her chair. "We need to decide what charter to give The Bloody Mary. The Wonderlust is satisfied with Island Hopping and can easily be shoved anywhere... Captain Thorne however is seeking plenty of killing to be done."

The laughter died down as they all began deliberating, looking over the usual charts and maps to determine routes. Most seemed in agreement for him to take the southern route that lead from Southern Stranglethorn, through open waters past the Maelstrom and ends near Azshara and back.

"An'i will be rather irritable at him so close to her route.. But it's safest bet." Bryce grumbles quietly.

"Tell her we'll expand her lane to connect to Pandaria so she can haggle down there as well." Ana waves a dismissive hand, "That should satisfy her need for a bit."

"And The Wonderlust?" Quez inquires with a raised bushy brow.

"We'll have them take over Leron's routes since his crew has opted to stay more on the Isle as of late." Ana nods to herself, writing to make the notes.

"Sounds fine. If that's all, can we leave?" Syvalia gruffs.

"Yes yes, you're all dismissed." Ana waves them all away so they can start filtering out.
